Three-time Olympic medallist and current world record holder in the 500-metre, Kim Boutin is one of the most dominant short-track skaters in the world. She is the fourth Canadian and the second Canadian woman to have won at least three medals during the same Winter Olympics. Her accomplishments and resilience made her an obvious choice as Canada’s flag bearer during the closing ceremony of the 2018 Winter Games.
As a resident of NOVIA, Kim gets to her favourite training centre—the Olympic Stadium—in record time! NOVIA is happy to have her on its team of ambassadors and be home to her preparations for the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy.
Charismatic host, producer and DJ Pierre-Yves Lord has been informing and entertaining Quebecers on television and radio for over 25 years. His curiosity and love for new adventures, combined with his energy, spurred him to get involved in different projects, including the television programs Deux hommes en or and La fin des faibles on Télé-Québec, the radio program Il est toujours 5 h quelque part and the podcast En mission spatiale on ICI Première.
Dedicated father, sports fan, amateur astronomer and recipient of a prix Gémeaux, Pierre-Yves chose NOVIA as his second home for the next few years to conveniently pursue his professional activities and passions.
From an early age, Émilie Desjarlais discovered that she perceived her environment differently from her peers, transforming every object into an opportunity to rethink space to optimize its look. Her Fine Arts and Visual Presentation studies were the beginnings of the emergence of her artistic voice, while her experiences as a set designer and prop maker have shaped her professional career.
Émilie, also known by the pseudonym “Brook & Peony”, is a full-time content creator, stylist and accomplished artist. Her boundless creativity has led her to collaborate with Novia to style apartments, brilliantly combining the contemporary and the timeless. Her talent also extends to creating content for brands and on her own platforms, where she captivates an ever-growing audience.
